Started with new chapter in my daily reading and didn't really expected the very first story will be so tragic about a woman in italy...who was a popular author and the creator of the character name "Frankestein" which we have seen many times in old horror movies...

Its not about how she got the idea of this potential character in her book but its actually about her own perosnal life...specifically love life...

What surprised me was that having a casual relationship or having an affair was so common in europe, around 1820s...I don't really know any stats to prove this as a fact but it just the story of mary which gave me this thought...

Mary's story revolves around her having an affair with a married man and then get cheated with her own so called best friend(jane) who was trying to seduce mary's husband but story takes one more dark turn when both bestie's husband died in an accident and after some years mary got to know that her bestie was having envy from her and was thinking to cheat with her husband...

I know, its quite complicated or maybe I am writing it in more complicated way...anyway the catch here was the tragic love life of mary and her being a popular author after all this incidents...it kinda shocked me like how she had dealt with this situations one after the another(also her two child died after the birth)...

AND

we think our life is difficult and more complicated...jane has envy from mary's life, her husband and her rich inheritance...even jane didn't know about her toxic trait...

We all have envy at some point of life, sometimes it does have an impact on our close relations and even relation with ourself...we need to be more aware that our feelings should not have any greater impact on others...

I will read more about how to overcome this feeling then will share my thoughts in next blog...

Other than reading, I was watching one series called "Little Things", about a couple in a living relationship for 6 yrs and finally decided to engage...

There is one seen in the last episode where the both were having convdersation on how they had successful relationship for soo loong...boyfriend character said this line...

"Maybe becoz we like to solve things together..."

its actually such a beautiful line where you ofcourse know that there will hell lot of problems in commitment with one person for whole life and you will get options to have someone better than current one, but rather than choosing to leave each other...you try your best, you try your best to solve things which can take time but you know you both will do...

I never had any experience in relationships but watching this series, I can feel till some extent that nowadays people run from relations which are toxic or frustating or messed up...which is right decision as you don't have to force yourself BUT

In any relation, there is a thin line between this options of whether both of you wanna solve things with each other OR better leave each other with their own problematic behaviour...

I saw a post on instagram which had this beautiful line...

In the era of "I am done with you"

find someone who says

"I understand we will solve it together"
