Day 3 of Dopamine Detox Cycle
Day3 was preety much good as compare to previous day as I had in my mind to keep my screen time as low as possible around 5 hrs which I think I did it till some extent...
My day begin with music of Harry Styles called "As it was", you probably had heared of this song in reels or any other social media then with some good stretching and yoga I started my day...
Before writing my blog, I was being lazy and was not in mood to write so I thought let just watch some youtube video and as I like to hear stories, I watched one horror movie summary from HAUNTING TUBE youtube channel, it was the story of 2001 movie called "The Devil's Backbone" which was decent horror movie considering the time it made...

After watching, I completed my blog writing for day2 and scheduled it...
I took a break and was just listening music and some youtube stuff was going on until I remember I need to continue the reading of the book called "Techinques for producing ideas" by James webb BUT then I thought I should do that in the evening time and so I took another task which was researching about IMPROV COMEDY...
Incase you don't know about Improv comedy, it basically means Improvisation at the moment of any given situation...I had seen many improv comedy streams by Kaneez surka on youtube which are great and very entertaining and I wanted to learn that...
NOT to do comedy but to use improv in daily life as when I was watching streams, I realised it is such a great skill to have that your brain naturally can come up with creative stuff during some scene given to you and when I saw comedians doing it so well which not only making me laugh but also it keeps me engaging, it made me watch more and more stuff like this, basically I got impressed by it...
It is a great skill like you train your brain to react naturally to any situation and come up with answers very fast and also effective way(Not all the time but most of the time) so I decided to practice some exercises everyday to train my brain to come up with this improvisation skill naturally...
I had watched one ted talk about it which was about how improv is nothing but mindfulness at present state which I think most of the people want....to be in present state...to enjoy the moment...to be silly....to be trustful...
From today itself, I am gonna start practising it...I didn't planned much about what to do and how long I will continue...just hope to have this underrated skill which I think going to be veryyyyy precious in long run...
After having this thought, I took a break had lunch and a sweet nap...
In the evening, I completed reading the book I mentioned above which was about the creative process OR steps to be creative in your work by following and making these steps into habits of your daily life...
The book made it clear that there are no specific steps to get creative ideas but its more of a habit which came naturally to a person who get this ideas very often...
"Ideas always (or mostly) come when it is least expected..." this is my favourite line which is indeed very true as you cannot force your brain to get ideas...its a habit and it should be authentic...
A very simple 60 pages book which you can give a thought of reading in free time if you are in creative space...might work for you
I will try to follow these steps...hopefully
I forgot, I am also excited for STRANGER THINGS season 4....woohhoooo...I like stories with very different and consistent stroyline....
AND so that was the day 3 which was preety good and hopefully will continue to do that...
Hope for the best...See you later...
