So it was something different today...

I had applied to one internship as a content creator and had all 3 rounds of interview knowing that I am going to get this internship for sure BUT also I was afraid to join as I didn't want to work full day at this internship and so I was very clear about my role to being a creator and not a manager...

I thought I am gonna lose this internship but I was lucky enough to get a good understanding founder who gave me creative freedom to work on my terms...although if this internship extends, I have to manage content also...so will see...

Had this meeting with the founder and some team members who are going to work closely with founder and are some important lead roles in the company, and yes I am one of them...

Bit nervous and excited too....he told us in the meeting about his whole journey behing starting up this company and shared how and why they are doing whatever they are doing currently....

About the business, about the vision...and about the team

I am writng this blog just as a reminder about this meeting to my future self incase I lost track on what is the vision of this company and who is the target audience...

Basically, a platform where youngsters who want to showcase their talent or hobbies like dancing, singing, art, comedy etc anything and want to earn from it, this platform is for them...

23rd jan 2023....I know I know that was a weird transition but I forgot to complete this blog and so completing with some new updates on my internship


What Happened?

After workinh for a month as content creator, specifically for instagram content, I decided to be clear about my role and confront the founders that I don't want to work on instagram...I would rather go for full time role on youtube channel of company

So, I mailed them after a month of work and thankfully they agreed...and gave me all access to their youtube channel 

I made one video in december month from scripting to editng and publishing and also learned to cut out unnecessary lines in the script when needed from founder himself

Now, again after a month of december, my parents told me to have a hike in your salary as I am working a lot on the channel and 5000 is very less amount for it

I thought, no brand will give a hike in 2 months....on top of that, my parents were demanding 20-25k oer month salary and I was like who would increase a salary from 5k to 25k per month that doesnt make any sense...

I told everything to founder and he suggested to go for freelancing as I can work on my own charges and it would be flexible for me to work on my own youtube channel so I took few days to think and asked founder to tell me the charges they can give per video...

Surprisingly, founders had a discussion and they offered me part time internship with 12.5k salary per month...I was happy and surprised as thats the thing I wanted to do...

I accepted the deal and currently working on their youtube channel as a part time intern...so, good news na!
