Metaverse


A Universe built in digital world where you can interact with things like they are in real life and after the announcement of Facebook which is renamed as META now, metaverse isgetting very hyped in startup ecosystem including investors investing in metaverse...

BUT

What is really a Metaverse..?

In simple language, its a Virtual Reality(VR) which give realistic experience and which was limited to just games until now but going to expand in number of ways like connecting people, meetings, shopping, etc and thats why as social media platforms are now most used apps in the world, this metaverse can be next big thing in coming decades with one level up from social media interactions...

STILL

What is in it for common man..?

I was thinking about these as although it is a future technology but surely it can't be everywhere as it required high speed of internet and VR setup which is again will be costly and specifically in India, where most of the audience are from middle class background...maybe income will increase in future for everyone with literacy rate but still this metaverse is something for upper class audience(Atleast for now) and currently I really don't see much of its applications for common man...

OFCOURSE, 

In coming decades there will be many applications for every target audience BUT I feel there should be some limitations to it as we know how social media platforms in this internet world are so useful but way more addictive and useless for most of common people and therefore there are chances of many negative consequences like addiction, mental health problems,etc...

EVEN though, it is very useful in many ways, I feel in metaverse, there should be some precautions we should keep in our mind so that it doesn't ruin next generation over digital space...

Will see how this work and also very excited to experience metaverse in coming years...
