Life always goes in from clarity to confusion to clarity to confusion phase...
This is my confusion one
Its been more than a year in my first corporate job and here is the month of increment
Not expecting much as company has one excuse...me working from home for like 4 months
1 month was just total rest without work
So i am not hoping much although will try to show my work till then...
There was clarity that i need to switch the job after increment as sooon as possible
Confusion came when today, one of my colleague who is with the company for more than 2.5 yrs now, got surprise travel opportunity to sweden for 14 days...
Other colleague (his close friend) told me that 2 days ago, he was really upset with company expressing the frustation of not getting any travel opportunity even with relevant experience and passport...
He kinda lost hope
Until today, he got this surprise
Company is not very sweet to consider him, its just that they needed someone with that VISA and he was available...basically they needed him for business nothing emotional in it...
Still, we were soooo happpy as it been a while team was not sending people who deserved...
This is also time, i got confusion
Should i switch? Should I wait? Should I keep any backup?
I know for sure, if i am with this company for good enough time like more than 2-3 yrs, i will get travel opportunity but not for too long
The thing is , I cant spend this much time on one company...I am looking for growth in my job post rather than being comfortable in one for long with hope for better travel opportunity...
I am kinda sure, i will opt for swtiching job for better package and post for now, but somewhere have this thought that what if staying for loong enough time will give me more returns and stability...
At same time, increment se i dont have much hope
I dont know actually...
will wait for this month to pass and see what happens...
Till then, listening to Dil to bacha hai ji song and vibing with a picture showing my mind state...
