When Life Gives You Tangerines - Korean series 2025

Nowadays, I get very selective for which movies/series to watch...specially series as it takes so much time when you are going to watch it in one go...

I had seen reels about this series storyline and how it gets emotional on every episode...it was there in the back of my mind to watch it

When i got free netflix subscription with VI recharge, I started watching random space and horror movies then some classic american movies like The Mask (Jim Carry)...eventually I came across this korean one so thought of giving it a watch...

Clicked on thumbnail of series for more info and realised it has 1 hour episodes and there are 16 episodes...there is no season 2 so the story ends for real...

Downloaded first episode...and forgot

Next day, came across first episode and started watching it with 1.5x speed...

Today i am on 11th episode...and what i know is this is not one couple story...

Its a series with story of 3 generations as of now...consists of korea in 1950s to 1980s to 2000s and how generation to generation, definition of love changes...how young ones across all the times express themselves....

In start, you just feel this is one story of a girl, but its not...whole series has been narrated by last generation girl and its good...there is a lot of similarities between old korea and old india, specially when it comes to situation of women...really tough

Am not watching this series in one go...just taking it slow 

have one last week remaining from joining the office again 

Will complete the series, will complete shopping for ofc., will complete the work pending...
